Camp Ketcha in Scarborough, Maine wouldn’t strike you as a location to hold your wedding reception. Not at first, anyway. A non profit organization that provides, and fosters, new experiences for children of all ages isn’t “usually” your go-to spot to secure your wedding date. The beauty of Camp Ketch is held within its walls of the “Great Room”. The Great Room has natural wooden walls and floors that give you a rustic Maine Barn Wedding feel. Your outdoor ceremony can be held outside on the manicured lawn or under their large gazebo in the event of inclement weather. All-in-all Camp Ketcha is a fantastic spot to host your celebration.
Olivia and Duncan
Traveled from New Hampshire to celebrate their big day. They got married on Higgins Beach, which is right next door to Camp Ketcha, with a few hiccups along the way. On the day of we were told by the Scarborough Police Department that we could not provide amplified music on the beach. We prevailed, did it anyway, and made sure that Olivia and Duncan’s beach wedding dream became a reality!
