Maine Weddings

can be expensive! It doesn’t matter what your budget is – it can be used up very quickly. There are three vendors that your guests WILL remember and this is where you should be focusing your attention – get what you want, who you want, and how you want it (within reason) and let the rest fall into place as you can afford it.

First, Your Maine Wedding Venue

is where you start. You can’t have a wedding date without the venue, right? Whether it be a backyard, an elegant venue overlooking the ocean, or a hotel banquet center – it doesn’t matter. Figure out what works for you as a couple and snag the one that makes you both say “hell yes”.

Second, Your Maine Wedding Photographer

It goes without saying that your weddings if forever: “‘Til Death do Us Part” But, in reality what is REALLY forever are the photo’s, and perhaps video, captured on the big day. We can speak from experience – it would have been nice to spend more money on a better photographer to have stellar photos to reminisce on. This is important. This is for YOU and nobody else.

Finally, Your Maine Wedding DJ

or band. People remember the entertainment. As DJs in Maine we KNOW that people talk about us after the wedding. It doesn’t matter if the food was immaculate if the entertainment sucks. People came to celebrate with you and you should provide the entertainment that allows them that opportunity.

Wedding Guests Talk

and this can backed up with statistics provided by The Knot and Wedding Wire:

  • When asked 81% of guests say they remember the entertainment most about a wedding

Wedding Regrets

  • Within one week of their wedding 78% of couples wish they had made their entertainment their number one priority.
  • Almost 100% of couples wish they had allocated more money for their entertainment.
