I had the pleasure of DJing the wedding of Kathryn & Philip at the Cliff House in Ogunquit, ME last year on 9/12/2015. The Cliff House is in the heart of, one of Maine’s biggest tourist towns, on the coast overlooking the ocean.
When you pull into the parking lot the facility does not appear to be that big. Don’t judge a book by its cover because the Cliff House has over 100 rooms for guests to enjoy the scenic views. The ocean, light houses, Maine summer, and lobster are the iconic Maine dreams that are a true reality at The Cliff House.
I have lived in Maine my entire life and I have seen a lot of different landscapes and scenic views that take your breath away. Before this wedding got started I had a moment to walk around the outside and really understand the meaning of the “Cliff House”. Looking out over the water and seeing the waves crash against the jagged shoreline about 50 feet below me was a true sight to see.
The Cliff House, in my eyes, is the location of a dream destination wedding. House, feed, and celebrate with your guests in a venue that offers Maine dreamscapes.
