A couple of weekends ago, 8/27/16, I had the pleasure of DJing the wedding of Jack and Juliana at the Portland Club on State Street in Portland, Maine.
Juliana and her family are Tanzania natives and her parents came from Tanzania to Portland for her wedding. Jack and Juliana had a traditional wedding with Juliana’s heritage tied in via music and artists that she helped me find and utilize during the formalities as well as dancing.
Jack’s mother, the groom, was on site and working with the caterer The Black Tie Company when I arrived to setup. Martha was wonderful to work with and did an excellent job with the decorations. The tables looked exquisite and the simplicity of the ideas really made things look super modern and sleek. I had left a piece of equipment at home for this wedding and because of that I had to use my phone in its place. I was not able to take a lot of pictures and this is unfortunate as the venue looked stellar.
