A Referral From a Previous Couple…
Brought me to The Sedgley Place in Greene, Maine on5/11/2019. I was fortunate to provide wedding DJ services for Miranda and Seth on September 3, 2016 and Seth is the son of Scott McClellan whom was the groom of my Sedgley Place wedding!
The Couple
Scott and Susan were both entering their second marriage. As they wanted a proper celebration they debated, for a while, if they should do the music themselves or hire a DJ. Fortunately, Susan and Scott agreed that a DJ would be in their best interest to provide the equipment and music for their wedding. Getting into their second marriage meant doing it right…
The Sedgley Place
Restaurant weddings always mean a lot to the couple. Whether it be the food, where they first met, their first date, or even a place that is just a tradition for one of the families… There is a reason they chose the restaurant they are holding their wedding. The Sedgley Place in Green, ME was a place that Scott and Susan frequented. It is a very quaint location with a ton of character in the old woodwork and style of the house…. gone restaurant. A beautiful back deck overlooks the green lawn where couples hold their ceremonies… Unfortunately, the weather for Susan and Scott did not hold up.
The Wedding DJ Services
I was able to provide a setup for their ceremony as well as an independent setup for their cocktail hour held on the back deck. The setup indoors was, wirelessly, playing the same music outside and guests were able to enjoy classical jazz music while they had some drinks and food. The ceremony was short and sweet in the main dining area and following dinner a select group of guests danced through the remainder of the reception.
Accolades
Susan was so happy to have hired a DJ. She raved up and down that Bouchard Entertainment was able to bring the reception to a level they couldn’t have dreamed of. It is a great feeling to provide a service to couples that exceed all expectations. Thank you for allowing me to celebrate with you both, Susan and Scott!
