The Setup
I was blessed with the opportunity to provide DJ and MC services for Ashlee and Ryan on July 7, 2018. Their wedding was held at Stonehedge in Gray, Maine. I provided sound for their ceremony with a battery operated PA system as well as an independent, satellite, setup for their dinner under the tent. The massive property has a stage, suited for bands, that I was also setup on to provide the music & entertainment for the remainder of the evening. Each of the locations were on the same property but run independently of one another to offer a seamless and timeless flow to the evening.
The Wedding
Stonehedge offers, what they call, “Country at it’s best”. In the outskirts of Gray, Maine you’re not too far from anything but feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere. The giant, well manicured, property provides enough space to host an outdoor wedding however you choose. The options are unlimited as is the space. With the space your wedding is very much DIY. Plan on doing almost everything including the setup and teardown of chairs for your ceremony! Perfect for those with the creative, diligent, finger that wants to put the wedding together themselves!
