The Venue

Migis Lodge is an exquisite venue located in Sebago, Maine overlooking Sebago Lake. You’ll enjoy your ceremony on a manicured grassy area overlooking the lake with the sounds of the water lighting crashing into the shore and birds fluttering in the wind. For this wedding, in particular, I saw my first bald eagle soaring overhead. This may not sound like something you would “want” but the guests were just as amazed as I was! It’s just once incident that speaks to the beauty Migis has to offer.

The Ceremony

Christine and Chris’ ceremony was very special. As Chris waiting with the bridesmaids and groomsmen at the arbor Christine made her entrance to the ceremony by boat. This was both a beautiful moment as well as completely unique. There aren’t a lot of locations that provide such an opportunity and it was very cool to see. Married overlooking the water and an outdoor cocktail hour resumed up at the lodge.

The Reception

Was moved into the main area of Migis Lodge. The room is all wood – it gives you that log cabin feeling but classier. The grand entrances were unique in that Pantera – Cemetery Gates, David Guetta – Where Them Girls At, and Pitbull – Don’t Stop the Party were all used for the different folks coming in. Chris, much like myself, is a metalhead and it was refreshing to play something a little different to get the evening started. Into the first dance, dinner and toasts, we continued to experience stellar dining and the inviting warmth that is Migis Lodge.

Dancing

What. A. Freakin’. Party. Is the easiest and most accurate way to describe this wedding. From the very beginning to the very end Christine and Chris’ guests never stopped. I made sure to work in some Linkin Park and Amon Amarth for Chris, too. As much as Christine was giving me the eye I knew that her and Chris appreciated having their unique tastes worked into the wedding reception.

The Client Said it Best

“Chris was AMAZING! From the very start, he was responsive and friendly. He took the time to send out reminder emails leading up to our wedding. Chris was extremely organized and responsive to our requests and needs. He even took the time to do a venue visit to make sure he was comfortable for our big day. The best part-the music!!! Chris was AMAZING!! Our dance floor was full the entire night. Chris knew what to play next all night long. All of our guests were commenting on how awesome the music was. We highly recommend Chris and Bouchard Entertainment” Christine Corley 12/4/2019
