“Stunning” is an adjective that barely describes the wedding I had the pleasure to be part of this past weekend!
The, now, Duchach’s wedding was the epitome of a destination wedding here in Maine! Other than the plate on my vehicle I am not sure there was another Maine license plate to be found! It was not just the license plates that showed how far away people traveled for their beautiful wedding… During the ceremony the pastor had people cheer when they heard where they were from…. A few from memory would be: Texas, India, and California.
From, literally, all over the world people gathered at Hardy Farm in Fryeburg, Maine to see Erica and Greg tie the knot. From beginning to end the hospitality, warmth, and love could be felt amongst the family and friends. I was only a small part in what made this wedding everything that it was. Mom’s worked hard on making the tent look perfect, the day of coordinator running all over to bring the little details to life. Bridesmaids, groomsmen, and guests helping in any way that they could.
I have done a lot of weddings here in Maine and this was my first true destination wedding. Don’t get me wrong… most Maine weddings are destination weddings. People travel from all over, all the time, to get married in our beautiful state… but, Erica and Greg’s wedding brought the phrase “Maine Destination Wedding” to a whole new level for me and I cannot wait to experience this hundreds of times over and over again.
Congratulations to the beautiful couple as they travel, from their homes, to Texas where Greg got a job with his new doctorates degree. You both were a ton of fun and an absolute pleasure to celebrate with.
