If there’s one thing we know, it’s that Greek weddings are nothing short of legendary—and Georgea and Kosta’s big day at Brick South in Portland, Maine, was no exception! With over 200 guests, endless dancing, and a floor covered in dollar bills, this was a night to remember.

Greek Music and Dancing Take Center Stage
Georgea and Kosta were explicit when they hired Chris as the DJ for the wedding. Above all else, they wanted seamless transitions, mash-ups, and a packed dance floor. Kosta comes from a large Greek family and wanted to incorporate traditional songs but did not want to lose the energy of a packed dance floor with all the guests… not just his Greek family! As tradition dictates, no one danced alone—family and friends joined in, creating an atmosphere of contagious energy.
The Iconic Greek Money Shower
DJ Chris got to experience something for the first time – the money shower! In true Greek fashion, guests showered the dance floor with one-dollar bills, a custom that symbolizes prosperity and is also a way to tip the DJ. Chris watched the dance floor fill with dollar bills like confetti – guests made it rain!
A Celebration to Remember
Beyond the music and traditions, Georgea and Kosta’s wedding was filled with heartfelt moments, laughter, and celebration that brought people together. From the touching speeches to the non-stop dancing, every moment was a testament to love, family, and culture.
