Fort Williams Park Ceremony – Cape Elizabeth Maine
Battery operated ceremony systems are becoming more popular. Couples are utilizing locations that are unique to them and are, often, off the beaten path. Carrie and Bryan’s wedding in June, 2019 provided me with my first opportunity to run a battery operated ceremony. Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth, Maine is a beautiful location in every aspect of the word. Whether you are taking family for a day out or holding your ceremony overlooking the rocky coast.. it’s spectacular eye candy.
Mariner’s Church Portland, Maine
Is in the heart of the Old Port – Portland’s food and micro-brew hub. Above Old Port Tavern – Maine’s best known karaoke bar… you wouldn’t believe the stellar banquet venue that exists upstairs. Carrie and Bryan had their cocktail hour in the billiard room that is on the second floor. We provided a satellite setup with customized music for Carrie and Bryan but all couples have the option to play music through their house system. For a short time we could watch Carrie and Bryan take photos in the streets of Portland, Maine! After cocktail hour we moved to the main reception area on the third floor. Lot’s of windows, lots of light, plenty of space – a beautiful spot.

We were blessed with the opportunity to provide a battery operated ceremony about 20 minutes away from the reception location. A satellite cocktail hour sound system playing the music that meant the most to Bryan and Carrie. While wedding uplighting was on the third floor with their main reception and formalities took place.
