The Beginning

The processional is for the bridesmaids to walk down the aisle to the altar. Some brides include the grand parents in this walk; however, it is usually just the bridesmaids. You can use pre-recorded music or a live musician… Either way, here are some of the most popular processional songs we’ve come across:

First

Trains “Marry Me” almost seems like it was written for weddings… In fact, some professional believe artists release certain songs knowing they’ll live on in weddings!

Second

Pachelbel – “Canon in D” is very traditional but I do see it quite often! Artists like Vitamin String Quartet, and The Piano Guys, are constantly making new music sound classical.. I think they’ll be taking this list in its entirety soon.

Third

Christina Perri – “A Thousand Years” … This has been around forever… I did a list back in 2015 and this was number 1.

Fourth

Haley Reinharts rendition of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” is one of the best cover songs I have ever heard. She really did Elvis justice with her cover. The name is so fitting, too.

Fifth

“How Long Will I Love You” by Ellie Goulding has been popular at a few of my ceremonies recently. Why did it make the top five, you ask? Simply because it has been used more than once at recent weddings!
