Having trouble selecting music for your ceremony?

You are most definitely not alone! Don’t make this part of your wedding any harder than it needs to be. What songs make you swoon over your husband to be? What songs remind of you when you first met? Is there a song, or two, that make you fall in love all over again? Whether you want the original version of a song, or an instrumental, you are in good company with todays options.

The Prelude

The prelude is when your guests are finding their seats right through when grandma, grandpa, and the parents are seated. The music can be completely generic or it can be tailored to you. I suggest using The Vitamin String Quartet as they create instrumentals of popular music. It sounds like classical music… but, it’s just the radios biggest hits. The Vitamin String Quartet has also created specific albums for weddings and those include Geek & Rock versions.

The Processional

The processional is for the bridal party, bridesmaids, to walk do the aisle and get lined up. A lot of brides are using songs that make them tear up, fall in love all over again, or a song that makes them think of their husband to be. When the bridemaids are walking down the aisle you, as the beautiful bride, can hear the song and it’ll get you all ready to walk down.

The Bridal March

Canon in D is so old school…. don’t do it. Keep this contemporary and unique to you. What makes you get the feels? What song will make hubby-to-be get the feels? Make this moment special. Your fiance is going to see you walk out in your beautiful dress, make up, hair, and nails all done perfectly. The song you choose shouldn’t be any less than perfect.

Keep in mind, your processional song can be used for the bridal march as well. This is getting quite popular in recent years. No matter if you’re walking into the same song as the bridesmaids, or your own entrance, you have got to make this count. Make your guests feel the emotions you feel!
