Maine Wedding DJ Services in NH
We were blessed so provide award winning Maine Disc Jockey Services for Avery and Jackson on August 31, 2019 in Durham, New Hampshire. DJs in Maine get to travel all over but not all Maine DJs are lucky enough to work with such a sweet, and loving, couple like Avery and Jackson. Birch Hill Camp is where Avery and Jackson met. It’s a summer camp and they were both camp counselors not long before the big day. We were asked to provide ceremony audio in the camp garden – it was beautiful! The reception was in the camp mess-hall, that’s what it’s called, right? Avery’s father played guitar and sang for their cocktail hour on a warm August afternoon while guests enjoyed a spread of food and signature cocktails.
Wedding Ceremony
Avery and Jackson had a dear friend, and fellow counselor, officiate their wedding. He was able to tell the story of Avery and Jackson – how they met, the signs that they had a thing for one another, the story behind the story…. all the camp counselors seeing this relationship develop and evolve. It was truly heart warming and beautiful. A large gathering – 170 guests for their ceremony. Two families full of heart and compassion.
Formalities and Dances at Their Wedding
Avery and Jackson were introduced to Lil’ Wayne – Right Above It and their first dance was to Jose Gonzalez – Heartbeats. Dinner was stone fired pizza and dancing at their wedding commenced easily and with goosebump inducing energy. I posted on Instagram during their dancing about how the whole room was moving… It was a sea of people! We had so much fun celebrating with all the songs from Whitney Houston – I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Nelly’s Hot in Herre. 2019 was full of weddings that had guests that just wanted to party… Avery and Jackson’s wedding was in the top 3. At the end of the night we played Bon Jovi – Livin’ on a Prayer and you would have thought that Bon Jovi himself was there as Birch Hill Camp erupted. It’s always a good time being a DJ in Maine. It’s always great to bring award winning Maine Disc Jockey Services to the rest of New England, too!
