A Maine Wedding Barn
with character and charm can only be found in an old farm house with a barn that has chickens roaming the grounds. Seriously, Live Well Farm in Harpswell, Maine has chickens roaming around. I helped play gate keeper to the chickens so they wouldn’t poop in the barn! I know this sounds a little crazy, and maybe a little gross, but it truly added a fun element to the rustic feeling. You can’t help but fall in love with the entire venue because it incorporates that barn feel but also gives you a manicured lawn, a ceremony spot amongst a garden surrounded with beautiful flowers, and a tent that is as beautiful as the flowers themselves. Circle back to the Maine Wedding Barn chickens… if they didn’t just run out when you told them to go they would run into the farmhouse like dogs! It was hilarious!
Caroline & Shauns
wedding at Live Well Farm was a gathering of people from far and very few from near. This was a destination wedding in a state that Caroline once called home. Being able to plan their Maine wedding with them was a blessing. I was honored to help bring their vision to life. Their ceremony amongst the garden was followed by cocktail hour near the deck, and dinner and special dances under the tent. We resumed the celebration in the barn for dancing with music mostly focused on the 60s and 70s. A young but truly diverse dancing crowd!
Caroline and Shaun’s
wedding soundtrack at Live Well Farm in Harpswell, Maine was unique, fun, and inspiring. The more weddings I DJ in Maine the more I find music that I enjoy. Stuff I would never listen to outside of my current tastes. Deepening the diversity of my palette is all of the icing on the cake. Caroline and Shaun definitely brought a diversity to their wedding soundtrack. Some of the artists used included Milky Chance, Coin, and Sound Hound.
