I want to start this off by saying that Emili’s story, of kicking cancer where it hurts, and the triumphs that her and Marc have had make this one of the most heart warming weddings I have ever been a part of. This couple had been to hell and back before they were even married and I was blessed with the opportunity to share in their very special day. Witnessing this power couple tie the knot is definitely a moment in time that I will cherish and never forget.
There are not enough powerful things I can say about Emili, Marc, or Emili’s mom Jennifer. The cohesive family are down to earth, funny, and an absolute joy to be around. Emili looked stunning in her wedding gown and her face was bright with happiness. This was a celebration of life for her own story as well as the celebration of life for her grandfather whom had recently passed before the wedding.
We had the chicken dance in her grandfathers memory as this was his favorite dance at all weddings. We also had a very special twist on the anniversary dance to honor and memorialize him. This was a touching moment…. one that is not often experienced at a wedding.
There are a few weddings in 2016 that made the list of weddings I will never forget. Emili and Marc you are forever in my heart. I wish you two the absolute best, many years of love and smiles, and the strength to continue to living life to the absolute fullest.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to share in your special day. To have been there means the world… I am so honored to have played a small role in the biggest day of your life. Thank you a million times over!
