The Couple
Jamie and Mark found me via a couple of mutual friends. Jamie hired me without talking to any other Maine DJs. This was an honor and a challenge at the same time! Two individuals with completely different musical ideas. Mark wanted no “wheels on the bus go round and round” songs and Jamie was a little more low key. She was open to anything that made the crowd happy. As a Maine Wedding DJ making sure that both couples were happy, in regards to music, provided some interesting dynamics.
The Venue
Jamie and Mark were married at The North Peak Lodge at Sunday River, Maine.Overlooking the mountains of Maine, foliage as ripe as can be, and a cute ski lodge, is a wonderful setting for any wedding. Imagine riding a ski lift with the brisk air brushing your face while observing the ascent in awe of its beauty. Better yet, the chondola, keeping the air off your face and getting a full 360 degree view of the scenery. A really unique way to be shuttled to a wedding venue.
The Reception
Was tailored to Mark and his tastes. I incorporated everything Jamie wanted into the dinner hour and cocktails. Dancing was full of early 2000’s, 90’s and 80’s. We dabbled with some 2010’s but could not go beyond that! Obscure choices from our early childhoods made sure that the floor was full and my groom was happy!
The Bride Said It Best
“Everyone knows weddings can be stressful even if you’ve been planning your dream wedding for years like myself.
