The Couple
Kaitlin and Trevis are an adventurous, fun, deeply in love couple that wanted, nothing more, then to have the biggest party of their lives. Kaitlin was so passionate about her wedding day. She knew how she wanted everything to be and she wanted the best selections for music. I mean, she grew up listening to 2000’s classic hits. Other than 90’s it doesn’t get too much better. Trevis, like any groom, wanted Kaitlin to be happy. I fell in love with them both as soon as we had talked on the phone in November of 2017.
The Venue

Is there anything about The North Peak Lodge that isn’t unique? You’re at the top of a mountain overlooking one of Maine’s most scenic views getting married. You have to utilize a chondola, yes – chondola, to get to the top of the mountain. A chondola is a chairlift and gondola put together. A traditional gondola does not have seats! You can also use the chair lifts if you care bare the mountain weather. The venue is small but it is big enough to hold an average size Maine Wedding. I can’t think of a better way to get married in Maine… at the top of a skiing landscape, in the clouds, enjoying one of life’s biggest highs. Congratulations on choosing such a unique place to get married!
The Wedding
Kaitlin and Trevis chose to have an extended wedding ending at midnight. The weather was perfect for a September wedding. Their ceremony was not too warm but not too cold. Cocktail hour was held where the onsite bar is but guests also mingled around the dinner tables and outdoors on the brand new decks. The extended reception time allowed us to have 4 hours of dancing and I believe Kaitlin said it the best:
“Chris was an amazing part of our wedding day! He went above and beyond our expectations, making our day fun and relaxed. First he brought all of his equipment up a gondola to a mountain peak! Then he proceeded to orchestrate an amazing dance party for me and my guests! Chris communicated with us throughout the day and was accommodating and supportive to our every need and desire. He played all the type of music we wanted and the transition between songs were incredible! He read the crowd the entire night, knowing when to change the music to read the vibe of the crowd. We extended our reception and Chris had no problem keeping the party alive on the dance floor for the entire time. At the end of the night everyone was chanting “encore!” and chris was gracious enough to play another song. We will always be happy with the decision we made for a DJ and would recommend Chris to all! Thanks Chris!”
