The most beautiful thing about Maine is the natural landscapes and sights it provides. These landscapes provide amazing places to get married and have once in a lifetime opportunities to do, and see, things you may not normally experience. The views from Saddleback Mountain are no exception to this ideology of our beautiful state!Danielle and Mike with Chris Bouchard of Bouchard Sound Services

I had the pleasure of DJing a wedding this past weekend at the Saddleback Base Lodge and it was a true pleasure to work with the venue and staff. The mountainside views and landscapes were dreams come true… The sights of mountains in the foreground and background during sunset were things you feel like you only see on postcards.

The ceremony is held on a grassy terrace behind the lodge and the area overlooks the bare trails for skiing and the empty chairlifts are right next-door. The back deck where cocktail hour is held is large, roomy, well maintained, and provides a superior experience while enjoying a cocktail and some hors d’oeuvres.

The formal reception is held on the second floor of the lodge and can hold up to 220 people. There is a full bar, dance floor, and stage for entertainment. The staff does a fantastic job of serving a 3 course meal, keeping up with the requests of guests and vendors, while also providing an experience that screams “5 star restaurant”! I had an apricot stuffed pork and it was absolutely delicious!

There are a ton of places you could visit to have your wedding in Maine… Out of all of the places I have been the scenic views of a mountainside resort are at the top of my list! Make Saddleback Mountain a must see venue on yours!
